  • Welcome to my blog!

    I. Love. Photography. I love sharing in a couples special day. I love capturing the love of a new mother and father as they watch their baby sleep. I love the laughter of a high school senior. And the smiles of their parents when they see how much their little baby has grown up. I believe in taking advantage the beautiful weather and landscape South Florida has to offer. I believe family, friends and God make the world go round.

    I love smiling and laughing.
    I love country music.
I love the colors blue, orange and yellow.
I love rainy days when I can watch a movie in bed.
I love cookies and cream ice cream.
And I love the New York Yankees.

I love spending time alone, listening to music, writing or driving around in search of new photo spots. My sister is my best friend and without her and my family I don't know where I'd be.

I'd love to share in your memories. And I'd love for you to sit back and enjoy my images and the random things I'll write about on my blog.

Happy Mother’s Day.

Mom,

Thank you.  Thank you for being you.  For teaching us love, patience, affection, understanding, compromise.  For showing us how to be strong and encouraging us to be the best we can be.  For always believing in us, when we need it the most.  For reminding us that we are all unique and have our own beautiful qualities.  Thank you for loving us through our attitudes and girly moods.  For showing us what it means to be a good mother.  I look forward to  being a mother – one day – and instilling a fraction of what you’ve instill in us each and every day.

Love you so much mom.

Happy Mother’s Day.

social butterflies and friendships.

Social butterfly… that’s the nickname I was given, oh about 8 years ago from friends and family.  They would joke around that I would talk to anyone and everyone no matter where I was.  And it’s true.  Since graduating college – with my Communicato degree – I’ve approached just about every situation with the idea that you never know who you’ll meet.

That was the case here.  I met Katina while working in the lab of a local hospital.  Whenever I’d be up on her floor, we’d strike up conversation and at times we’d meet up for lunch.  And although now, because our schedules are so crazy and we’ve entered new stages of our lives over the last 8 years, we managed to schedule some girl time and photograph Katina before her big move.

She’s taken the courage that alot of people wish for, and moving to the Big Apple!  She’s packing it all up and starting a new chapter of her life in the city that never sleeps.  Museums, concerts, shopping, amazing food and incredible sites to see will be a staple in her life for a long time.

Katina, I wish you all the best of luck.  Enjoy the city.  Site see and scope out places for us to check out when I go up there in July.  See you soon!

Traveling to see friends and baby wishes.

People come into your life for a reason… Helen, and her husband Guillermo are two people that entered my life about a year ago and have left a mark in my heart forever.

Helen’s baby shower was recently and we couldn’t have missed it, so we traveled to a place I never thought I’d visit in my life… Arizona.  My mother, sister and I packed our bags and made our way out to see deserts, cacti, tumbleweed (although we didn’t see any), tons of Spanish food and our friends.

It was such a wonderful trip.  Filled with relaxation by the pool, driving up Mount Lemmon, shopping and quality time with my family.  It was exactly what we all needed.  And a trip we will never forget.

The weather was perfect.  The mountains breathtaking.  The people super friendly.  And the memories unforgettable.

While there, Helen, Guillermo and I walked around our hotel – Loews (stunning place) – and shot a few maternity photos.  This will be the last time Helen is in Arizona before baby girl is born, so we wanted to make sure we snapped some of them in Helen’s hometown.  I couldn’t be happier with what we got and the fun we had walking around.  And yes.. there were cacti EVERYWHERE and that is Sabino Canyon in the distance.  It was beautiful!

Helen and Guillermo, you’re going to be such caring, loving, encouraging and wonderful parents.  Your little girl will surely be loved by everyone.  She is going to be spoiled and rightfully so, because we all love her already.  Oh and she’ll have such a sense for fashion, food and wine – once she’s old enough for that.  She’ll see the world and speak Spanish.  And I’m sure she will be in Crossfit by the time she’s able to walk.  She’ll join you on marathons and she’ll try and be a doctor like her daddy – or follow her mom as a nurse.  Whatever she desires to be, I know you’ll encourage and support her every step of the way.  God bless you guys and her and we can’t wait to meet the little princess.

Love you always.

ps. seriously ?!

Camy & Mike. Hilton Singer Island wedding.

It’s such a beautiful thing to experience… a wedding.  What’s even more beautiful is when it’s a close friend of yours who you’ve known for a long time that’s getting married.

That was just the case this past week. My dear friend Mike, who my family and I have known since we were 15, married his wonderful and ever-so-sweet bride Camy in a gorgeous beach ceremony.  We couldn’t have asked for better weather as these two prepared to walk down the isle and vow to forever love one another.

Camy and her girls enjoyed the afternoon getting hair and makeup done, laughing and listen to music – along with some dancing – to make the vibe a complete relaxed one.  We sat there in amazement that their day was really here, and every so often you’d hear Camy say “I’m getting married today!”

Mike and the boys on the other hand… enjoyed their time joking around at the bar.  Because you know, guys only take 20 minutes to get dressed and be ready for just about anything.  They did as boys do and relaxed.  Soaked in the day and the beautiful weather.

The day turned out magical.  Perfect sunset.  Nice breeze.  And smiles from everyone watching.  It couldn’t have been more perfect.

Camy and Mike… we wish you nothing but the best.  Tons of love, happiness, laughter and wonderful memories to be created between the two of you.
